I'm Piotr Sorys, the owner and principal consultant of Metronome. My career began as a hands-on embedded software engineer, developing safety-critical software for the avionics industry and high-performance systems for automotive and digital TV. This strong technical foundation allowed me to deeply understand complex systems before naturally stepping into managerial and tech lead roles, scaling engineering teams and driving operational excellence.
In 2018, combining my technical roots with growing business acumen, I founded Devorion Sp z o.o. as a software house. Over time, this entrepreneurial journey evolved into Metronome, expanding my focus to provide top-tier software engineering consulting, agile transformation, and team management services.
Today, backed by an MBA in IT (Kozminski University, 2026), I continue to manage cross-platform engineering teams delivering core libraries for millions of users. Throughout my career, I have successfully bridged the gap between deep engineering and high-level business strategy across the Avionics, Automotive, Digital TV, and Cyber Security sectors.
